Who we are
RackFlow Texas is a quote-request, comparison, and project-intake marketplace for warehouse racking and related services in the Greater Houston area. We are not an installer, engineer, permitting authority, or inventory owner.
Information we collect
When you submit a quote request, inventory request, used-rack listing, or contact form, we collect:
- Contact details: name, company, work email, phone number.
- Project location: city, ZIP, and (when provided) facility address.
- Facility & project details: warehouse square footage, clear height, dock or grade-level access, forklift availability, seismic requirements, permit needs, target timeline, and budget range.
- Racking specifics: rack type (selective teardrop, structural, drive-in, push-back, pallet flow, cantilever, etc.), quantities of uprights/beams/wire decking, condition, manufacturer, capacity, and whether teardown or removal is needed.
- Attachments: photos of existing racking, site drawings, layout PDFs, or other files you upload.
- Free-text notes: anything you type into notes or description fields.
- Technical & usage data: IP address, browser type, device, referrer, pages viewed, and interaction events (e.g. which form you started, which marketplace card you clicked) collected via cookies and analytics tooling.
How we use it
We use submitted information to qualify your project, route it to one or more independent providers, follow up about your request, improve the platform, and produce aggregated, de-identified market research.
How we share it with providers
By submitting a project, you authorize RackFlow Texas to share your project information with one or more independent third-party providers — installers, new and used rack dealers, repair contractors, teardown and relocation crews, permit and engineering partners, and liquidation buyers — so they can contact you and prepare a quote.
- We typically share all of the project information you submitted (contact details, location, facility and racking specifics, attachments, and notes) with the matched providers.
- Providers may contact you directly by email or phone using the information you submitted.
- Providers operate under their own privacy, contracting, and data-handling terms. Once shared, a provider may retain its own copy of your submission as part of its sales or CRM records.
- We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or unrelated third parties.
- We may also share information with service providers that help us operate the platform (hosting, analytics, email delivery, error monitoring) under confidentiality obligations, and where required by law.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and analytics tooling to understand how the site is used and to improve content, navigation, and conversion paths. This includes page views and form-interaction events (e.g. quote, inventory, and sell-rack form starts and submissions, and marketplace card clicks).
Data retention
- Active project intake (quote, inventory, sell-rack, and contact submissions): retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction so we can follow up, re-route stalled projects, and support warranty or dispute questions with providers.
- Records required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes: retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable law.
- Aggregated and de-identified analytics: may be retained indefinitely, as it no longer identifies you.
- Server logs and security or abuse-prevention data: retained for up to 12 months.
- Marketing email lists: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
After these periods, we delete or de-identify your information unless a longer retention period is required by law. Providers you have already been connected with control their own retention schedule.
Your choices
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your information, or opt out of marketing follow-up, by emailing projects@rackflowtexas.com. Note that providers you have already been connected with may retain their own copy of the information you submitted.
